Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Unhooked TV account yourself at any time, or ask us to do it for you. Deleting your account works the same no matter which device you watch on.
Delete it yourself
- Go to accounts.unhookedtv.app and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Open the Security tab.
- Select Delete account and confirm.
On unhookedtv.app you can also get there from your profile picture in the top bar, under Manage account.
Or ask us to delete it
Email privacy@unhookedtv.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm and complete the request within 30 days.
Delete some of your data and keep your account
You don’t have to close your account to have your data deleted. Email privacy@unhookedtv.app from the email address on your account and tell us what to delete, for example your watch history, your viewer profiles, or all of your personal data. We will confirm and complete the request within 30 days, and your account stays open.
What happens when you delete your account
- You are signed out everywhere, and you can no longer sign in with that account on any device.
- Any active subscription is cancelled automatically, so you will not be billed again.
- Your email address is removed from your account record.
- Some records are kept for a limited time, such as billing records required by tax law. See section 5 of our Privacy Policy for details.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. If you only want to stop paying, you can cancel your plan instead from Account → Subscription and keep your account.
